From the strip pits

This is from out at the strip pits....on my other blog I have pictures from here. At least one was almost from this exact same spot. I just love all these sunflowers and wondered how they came to be there. Was it birds that spread them, or was it people?

    It was probably people, as the birds grind up the seeds.

    But then again, birds do spread soem plants for sure. Dunno--if they grind them in their crops, how do they poop them out? Hmm, mystery.

    A fine shot of the sunflowers. The mystery of their origin continues. I too like the power lines in the shot.
