Without a leg to stand on

If you look close, you will see there is not corner post on the right side...you have to wonder how that side is still standing.

  1. Methinks you would not want to get too close if a big wind came up! A delightful old building, Rose. Your photos are always a delight!

  2. Me again. I got to thinking about your photos and your stories and it came to me that you have something special to share with the world. Have you ever thought of doing a book of pictures (barns, old houses, farms, etc.) combined with your reflections about life as you've experienced it: A picture on one side of the page and a commentary on the other?

It seems to me that could be something a lot of people would enjoy ... especially those from the midwest who grew up on farms or in rural areas.

You might want to toss this out to a publisher -- and you've got lots of pictures and commentary to start with...

  3. I'm thinking a very large beaver ate a chunk out of that corner of the barn. :)

  4. Very interesting. I hope the big bad wolf doesn't come along and huff and puff!
