I could not find the name of this church anywhere. I assume it is a church. I will show two or three more pictures of it in the coming days. It is in Attica, Indiana. I just think it is so beautiful.
This is a beautiful doorway and the wreaths are perfect on the doors. You've brought back memories -- my parents used to take us to Attica to visit relatives when I was a child. I haven't been there in years.
What a beautiful door and an intriguing mystery. I look forward to seeing more photos.

ReplyDeleteNo name anywhere? That's unusual. Usually churches go to great lengths to get their name in front of the public.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's a secret sect of some kind? Heh. Heh.
'Tis a gorgeous doorway, though. If I had to guess, I'd say it's either a Catholic or Episcopal church...
It has a beautiful patina on the wood and is gorgeous against the stone. What a lovely reflection in the top window.
ReplyDeleteThere is a religious denomination called the "no-name church", maybe that's what it is.
ReplyDeleteA lot of churches here have been transformed into houses. I bet someone lives in the old church.
ReplyDeleteJust found these posts on this church and agree it is a beautiful building. Very intriguing and old looking.
