From the sidewalk

This house was in Attica, Indiana...
I couldn't decide on just one photo,
So am posting three views hoping to give you a feel for it.

Be sure and stop by my other blog to see another shot of it, plus there are a few of Lorelei from today!

  1. What a glorious old house! I love these places...my folks had one like this but not quite so fancy. It's a great house for kids with so many hiding places and things to explore. Your photos are exemplary...full of color and sharp as a tack! Excellent work, Rose!

  2. This is a beautiful old house -- I'm glad you showed more than one picture. I had a great-aunt that lived in Attica, but her house wasn't nearly this grand.

  3. That is a beautiful house. We have several old houses in my town. I've been watching the progress of one house being remodeled. I would love to go inside the house when the remodeling is completed!

  4. It certainly has been well taken care of and preserved! Love the color.
One section of historic downtown here has some old Victorian homes that I'd love to have.

  5. Beautiful old homes.... I love them---and if I were younger and richer, I'd buy an old home and fix it up and live in it.... Guess that's for another life, huh???? ha

Bet Neil is having a great time in your old stomping grounds...

    Hugs,

  8. A beautiful home and the owner obviously takes pride in how it looks. Lovely landscaping, too. Glad you shared more than one photo! =)

  9. A beautiful "painted lady" with such an artistic architecture! Your series does it justice in a fine way. I'd like to be inside the circular room to see how the owner's have placed furniture. It has a lovely paint job too. A marvelous home.
