This barn is as huge in real life as it looks in the picture. It would probably cost a small fortune to repair, but wouldn't it be wonderful if the next time we went that way it would have even just a new roof?
A marvelous looking barn for its design and size. It will be sad if the owner continues to let it decline. Some of these should be declared national heritage sites.
Love the photo, Rose. There are so many farm buildings in a state of disrepair...I think in many cases, people simply can't afford to fix them up when fixing is needed and thus, they continue to deteriorate until it is simply too late.
That really is a huge barn. I'd like to know the purpose of lookout ports...were they just for light?

ReplyDeleteThe barn makes the house look almost insignificant. It would be nice if the barn could get some TLC.
