I made a quick run to the library this evening...I came out and realized it was going to be a gorgeous sunset. I raced to get out to where I could get a shot, and this was the result. It almost doesn't look real....
We've seen some of these, too. I heard that we're getting some of the sand from Africa again, blowing across the ocean...that often makes for these reddish sunsets.
Beautiful shot, Rose.
Re your question on Stone Creek: I don't think the birds were looking at anything specific. They're kind of goofy little birds!
Considering this is Indiana, I'd say you got the perfect sunset. This is amazing, Rose! I get so frustrated over here because of all the ground clutter and no decent place to capture the sunset (or sunrise).
What a gorgeous sunset!
ReplyDeleteAwesome shot! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like this photo was taken on another planet. The sun is so HUGE. :) And there are thin clouds in front of it.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photo, Rose. I'm glad you had your camera.
You get some really beautiful sunsets in your area.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! The sun looks huge in that picture.
ReplyDeleteI especially like the banding across the sun with the strata of clouds overhead. Super shot, Rose!
ReplyDeleteWow---you all have the most gorgeous sunsets in your area.... Love this one.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy
