Another shot from Illinois...as you can see the building cannot be classified as big...
and one can definitely say it has seen better days. But what puzzles me is the way the roof is made...does anyone have any idea why it is built with those sections sticking up?
I would guess ventilation for something, but don't know what. Interesting old building.

At first I thought about ventilation, but it looks as if the sides are covered, so I'm not sure how they would improve air circulation. So it's a mystery to me. But it is an interesting old building.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking air vents too. It's amazing to see the pattern of boards will remaining. Why the open, unconnected boards here and there is a mystery. Nice shot.
