In the wind....

This is a drive-by shot I took today on our way to Arthur, Illinois. There was a fairly steady wind...and I loved the way the the tree's limbs swayed. For once, I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the photo turned out...taken from a vehicle going 60mph. If I get brave, one of these days I might show some of the rejects in the drive-by shots! But for now, I will stick with the better photos.

  1. Gee---we can surely tell which way the wind is blowing, can't we????? Great picture, Rose.

  2. Just excellent! And sharp. I'm impressed. It's very difficult to get a good shot from a speeding car...but you did it! I, too, like the sway of the branches...

  4. This is a wonderful photo -- doubly so since it's a drive-by shot. You captured those wind-swept branches beautifully.

  5. EXCELLENT capture, especially at 60 mph! I just made a post to our goddaughter's blog using a bunch of my "reject" drive-by photos - LOL!

  6. I love drive by shooting of this variety. I get lots of rejects but occasionally everything works. In the wind... works. Beautiful.
