Going through the archives the other night, I ran across these of one of the round barns near here.

At one time this barn was needing a new roof, and I was beginning to wonder if it was going to be let go till it fell to the ground. I was so happy to go back by and discover the new roof...now if I just had the courage to ask to see the inside!
This is my entry for Tricia's Barn Charm....I hope you will join us there.
This is wonderful, Rose! We used to have one here in East Gwillimbury but it was torn down before I moved here. I've only seen a drawing of it. This is so cool!
ReplyDeleteThis is a neat round barn. I'm glad it's gotten a new roof. I also hope you can get a peek inside some day.
ReplyDeleteWOW! What an utterly gorgeous barn--hope you get to see the inside!!
ReplyDeleteTry painting--it's fun! :-D
There was a round barn near where I live when I moved here about 35 years ago, but sadly...it fell apart. It certainly wasn't as beautiful as this one! Amazing! These are such great photos.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great pic...round barns are so unique. Glad it was saved and got a new roof.
ReplyDeleteI love all the barns! Can't pick a favorite!
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the pretties, coolest barns I’ve seen. I just love the shape--so much character. I am so happy they saved it!!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know there is a round barn. This is so cool! Love it!

I love this barn! I'm glad they fixed the roof. It has many good years to go now!
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful barn, I too would love to see inside!
ReplyDeleteWow - I love this!
ReplyDeleteReally nice shots Rose.
It would be nice to see inside. This one I'd really like to convert to a home.
I forgot this week. :(
I've only seen a round barn once I believe. I hope you do get to go inside. I would love to see the pictures.
ReplyDeleteVery unusual but enchanting. I hope you can get inside, too!
ReplyDeleteExcellent!! Imagine roofing a round area. I believe there is a round barn in Eastern Washington that is on the historic record. But I have never seen it. Now I must. MB
ReplyDeleteWhat an intriguing barn. I would love to see inside!

Ohhh yes, to see the inside would be fantastic, Rose! heheheee
ReplyDeleteThis barn is rockin' the charm... LOVE IT!!! =) Just look at all the windows & the cupola... WoWoWeee!
A fine shot of this unusual barn. I too would wonder about the interior arrangement. It looks as if it would have a difficulty unique to this style of construction. It's great that it is being maintained.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing this. I bet anyone who cared enough to give it a new roof would love to let you take a look (and some photos) inside. He or She may want to talk you to death about this great building. It has to be a passion.
ReplyDeleteWe have both round and octogon shaped barns in this state but most are in great disrepair. They are a rarity.
Great shots of this unique barn. I've never seen a barn like this. Its gorgeous, and I like the autumn scenery with it.
ReplyDeleteI love this one. It is so unique! Plus it looks huge in the round!
ReplyDeleteRose, that bottom picture is a really nice pictures....it belongs in a frame on my wall.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen a round barn. Wow, really cool!
ReplyDeleteThis is great! YOu will have to tell me where it is. I posted the one near Washington, In in my last post and then saw another round barn in Katney's blog! This must be the week for round barns! How funny!
ReplyDeleteThat is the most unusual round barn I have ever seen. We got lots of round barns here in Vermont, but not like that one!!! Where exactly is it ? Looks like no snow would stay on that roof--an advantage!!
ReplyDeleteWonder when it was built..
You need to build up some courage and ask the barn owner for a tour.
PLEASE!
Come visit the barns of Vermont and my herd, when you have a chance:
