I bet it was, too! I see the charm in these places... some don't! I'd sooo love to sit & listen to someone tell stories about this place!!! =) Very intriguing!
It does look lonely. I look at houses like this and think what they must have looked like once when someone cared about them. It's sad they have to fall into ruin and no one wants them.
what a beautiful old house. i love abandoned houses like this but it's sad to see them in such ruin too. i'm sure it could tell a few stories of its own, couldn't it? hope all is well.
Rose and I see so many old places that we would just love to know the history of, and see inside of. You just never know what will or can happen to a family.
I know this is sort of drab...but it is so lonely looking that it appeals to me. At one time, I bet it was a really nice house.
I think the picture is a little sad. It's a good picture, but the house was once something special.

ReplyDeleteOh dear. We have one in our neighborhood too and it just makes me sad to think of the families that have moved on and left it in ruins...
