Another from Paris...

Another house...another untold story. Or maybe many, many stories. I hope someday I go back and it is occupied and fixed up. It would be a beautiful home. The roof looks new, so maybe it is gradually being renovated.

  1. Oh, you hope someone is saving it and restoring it. I bet it has wonders inside! Sometimes I have dreams of living in a huge OLD rambling place with lots of rooms and halls and hidden spaces and gardens and patios. Wonder what that means psychologically... :)

  4. That one is a beauty. From here the walls look sound so there is hope for this one. We have lived in an old Greek Revival home for 32 years. The nooks and crannies are great, but so are the maintenance and improvement costs!

  5. This place certainly has sufficient charm to warrant a total renovation. A fine subject for you to shoot. I like how you framed the shot too. Well done.

  6. If I had the money and was younger, I'd buy it and renovate it myself. It's fundamentally a beautiful building and it's almost a crime to let it rot away...I hope you're right about the roof and renovation...

  7. I love this place. Oh wouldn't it be fun to restore it. And while doing so listen to all the stories it has to tell. MB

  8. I've always wanted to live in a house that looked like this. I would love a round tower room.
