Don't tread on me

Every time I see these horses, and I see their feet, I cannot help but think how painful it would be stepped on by one, let alone kicked.

  1. My Arab gelding stepped on my foot one day and snapped a few little bones in the top of it (still hurts from time to time). I can't imagine a Clydesdale!!! :)

  3. Yes, yes, it would be painful!!! =0
I went to my parent's farm last Sunday & was in the barn w/ mom while she was brushing a new horse she'd just gotten the weekend before & something spooked the horse & she started kicking & trying to break free... I thought mom was gonna get kicked there for a minute, but she calmed the horse down! THANK GOD!

Thank you so much for the comment you left... I had the idea to start Old Barns/Barn Charm quite a while back, but just wanted to see how many people would be interested in joining each week... so finally, I just said Ok I'm going for it... if they don't like it, then, at least I tried... I'm sooo glad people really DO like it! Thank you, Rose!!! =)

  4. A nice detailed shot of this horses feet. I've fallen off and horse but never been kicked by one. Seeing a horse kick cures anyone of ever wanting to find out what it might be like! :-) Fine shot of this beautiful animal.

  5. This is a good picture to go with the title of this post. I wouldn't want to be stepped on by these either.
