Fields of purple....

I know this is only weeds, at least to most people....but when seen in a field like this henbit is really beautiful. It is a familiar sight around here now...henbit. Though I don't see it in all over fields of this size very often. If I didn't know better, I would have thought it was planted on purpose.

  1. This is a very pretty picture, even if it is only of a 'weed'.

  2. I saw some henbit spilling over a field here in Texas last month and I gasped and wanted to shoot it - but there was too much traffic and I couldn't stop safely. Your photo is PERFECT!!! Thank you!!!

(And I think weeds are as lovely as so-called wildflowers too!)

  4. We have fields like this, too! Amazing. I wonder if our flowers are the same weeds? Very pretty! I like the rolling landscape in this photo, too!

  5. You could fool me with this field. I don't recall seeing this before. It does look like it's been planted. Nice shot of it.

  8. I'm always amazed at how beautiful that little purple weed makes the fields.
