This bark's texture is so photogenic! I wonder what kind of tree it is. I admire people who can tell just by looking at the bark.
That bark is awesome! If you turn your head sideways it looks like an alligators back.
i was thinking it was a dragon's tail (similar to Judy above).
Whatever one wants to call it...it makes a fine subject for showing nature's handiwork and the excellent textures of this tree's bark.
I think you could have titled it "Interesting and Unique". This is a great picture.
