When we took Lorelei to the creek Tuesday, there were all kinds of little frogs and toads. Some were this size, some were and inch or so and some were not as big as my fingernails....and I don't have long fingernails. Lorelei thought they were neat.
I'm sitting here grinning! I'm 57 and I still love toads and esp. love watching kids discover them. What a blessing to be able to see the toad through your granddaughter's eyes! He does blend in REALLY well! :>)
toad butts are just the cutest things! :) right up there with squirrel ears!

ReplyDeleteWhat a cute little fellow. :) He blends in so well he has to be careful someone doesn't step on him.
ReplyDeleteHe sure is trying to blend it...He's so cute!
ReplyDeleteThis one blends it with the surround rocks so completely. A fine close up with nice detail and natural color.
ReplyDeleteThis little guy does do a pretty good job of blending in. I'm glad you spotted him and got this picture to share with us.
ReplyDeleteThis is a perfect picture!! Is this all the real colors? He is almost completely camouflaged!
