This was really eye catching in person, but we were on a busy road and though Roger tried to pause, I did/could not get a good angle. I am not even crazy about the photo, maybe because I remember how my heart skipped a beat when I saw the actual scene. This only gives a hint of how beautiful it was.
Oh, I like it. The layers of fence, flowers, grapes, then the barn add such interest. Very nice.
ReplyDeletelooks like they put in some work there!
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely, with the hint of the beautiful flowers behind the white fence and the gorgeous sky behind the barn. A snapper's dream!
ReplyDeleteI like it, especially how the flowers peek through the fence.
ReplyDeleteIt is pretty and eye catching Rose. This would have been a great Barn Charm.
ReplyDeleteI didn't see it in person, but this is really beautiful, Rose! The barn, the vines, the flowers, the sky & all that green... NIIICE! =)
ReplyDeleteI do like it. It's very pretty with those flowers along the front. It's very pretty.
ReplyDeleteI love it all-the crisp white of the fence, the bright pink of the flowers and a weathered barn---beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI think it's a fine picture. I like the fence and flowers in the foreground with the greenery and building behind.
ReplyDeleteThe nature of drive-by shots means "taking what you can get" and usually only one or two shots. You did very well with this one.
It's a wonderful drive-by shot, but I understand your frustration. When you see a scene that's really wonderful you just want to get out and get that perfect shot. However, there's a bit of excitement in drive-bys to see just how good a shot you can get on the fly, and you did very well here!
ReplyDeleteI like it, but I know how you feel. I've often seen a beautiful scene in person, but have been disappointed in the pictures of it no matter how much care I took in getting a 'perfect' shot.
ReplyDeleteGreat image. I like the combination of colors.
ReplyDeleteYes, it's beautiful, Rose.
