My Barn Charm

I posted a barn yesterday from our round about way of going to the Goose Pond area here in Indiana...well here is another from that drive. We were on our way home, when we spotted this one...it was hit the brakes and back up time.
I like this one so much...because it is aged I suppose. It is one that I would love to convert to a house if it were mine.
I was so happy that it was where I could take my time and snap a few different views. I don't get to do that near as much as I would like.
Even though I think the vine is pretty growing up the wall, if it were mine, it would not be there. I would have it pulled down too quick to talk about.
The roof needs a little bit of love...I hope it gets it because this is a beautiful barn in my opinion.

As always, if you want to see more barns, or if you have one please go see Tricia's Barn Charm meme...I so love seeing all the barns.

  16. It'll definitely be heartbreaking if they leave it to rot... Why don't the owners see the beauty in these old barns like we do?

I also wonder how many have stopped to take photos of these old barns like we do, too!

    Thanks for joining, Rose

  20. That's a nice color and I like the details on the doors.

The roof on my barn photo is slate - a very common barn roofing material around here, so it must have been plentiful.

  22. Oh, this is beautiful! A rare color - most barns seem to either be red or weathered white.

  27. That is a beautiful barn, and a bit different, which makes it even more worth keeping up and saving.

Is there a house close by, or is it sitting there all by its lonesome?

    Thanks for sharing!
