On a drive this fall, we saw this little old building. I have no idea what it was used for...but I liked its worn look that spoke of other days, other times.
It is very similar in design to the chicken house we had on the farm where I grew up. I suspect it will remain a mystery building! it has loads of charm and I'm glad you photographed it to share. happy day to you Rose.
it is odd, not big enough for a barn, does not look like a house. maybe it was a kitchen house and the big house is gone. beautiful, whatever it was/is
i like those types 2-pitched roofs to let in light at the top. :)
ReplyDeleteReally interesting, it does not look like a barn. Wonder how long it's been since someone used it? Looks like a long, long time.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great find! Really interesting.

ReplyDeleteWell worn, but interesting....like most of us :-)
ReplyDeleteThe back part is definately a chicken coop.....perhaps they put on an addition??
ReplyDeleteIt is nestled nicely in amongst the trees.

ReplyDeleteIt certainly has an interesting design with windows lighting the interior across the top. Nice worn look.
ReplyDeleteIt makes a fine subject.
I'm thinking it was a chicken coop.
ReplyDeleteIt's awesome isn't it!
Kind of like a fancy chicken coop maybe. Still standing straight. I like it.
