This was taken on a foggy morn of February 4, 2008. It is one of my favorite shots...so even though I have published it previously on Pics & Pieces for sure, and maybe even on here, I am posting it again. Maybe I am a little too fond of it:-)
I am linking with the
Friday's Fences at Life According to Jan and Jer.
I love this, Rose. I'm so glad you reposted it as I never would have been able to see it!
ReplyDeleteOh I really like this picture, I haven't seen it before so I am glad you re-posted it. :)
ReplyDeleteIt is a great shot, worthy of a second look (or first in my case).
ReplyDeleteGreat shot. I wouldn't want to come this close in real life, though!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot!
ReplyDeleteI can see why it's a favorite of yours! It's an awesome shot!
ReplyDeleteoh, i like it too!!! glad you brought it back!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, this is awesome! Glad you re-posted because I didn't see it the first time. Great shot!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot! I hadn't seen it before so I"m glad you posted it again. It's really amazing.
ReplyDeleteA simple, yet profound image. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIf I blur my eyes, it looks like a pterodactyl!!! Or some other great bird of prey.
ReplyDeleteAwesome shot.
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is WOW!
ReplyDeleteyou should be fond of it. it is gorgeous and proof that beauty can be found in anything, even barb wire
ReplyDeleteWell of the 26 entries so far on Fridays Fences I have to give you the "Best of Show" award. Very nicely done.
ReplyDeleteI don't think you're too fond of it at all. I really like this photo with the water between the barbs. Very well done!
ReplyDeleteI love it, too, and coincidentally I am posting one similar to this for my Macro Monday shot. I am fascinated by the simple and the so-called mundane things that serve big function. I am also drawn to any shot with strong linear qualities. This one is beautiful and the blend you were able to achieve with your capture in the background is awesome. Beautiful work.genie
ReplyDeleteIts strength is in the simplicity of a single barb decorated with the hanging droplet of water. A superb imaged…I can see why it remains a favorite.
ReplyDeleteI don't blame you for being proud of that shot!!! It's a great one!
ReplyDeleteI too would be proud of this capture...simple and beautifully done~
ReplyDeleteI can see why you love this photo--such simplicity, clean focus, and timing with that one perfect drop of water. I admire your wintery header as well--so atmospheric.
ReplyDeleteoh YES, very clever photograph; love it.
ReplyDeleteI love this photo, Rose! I think I remember you showing it before...or one similar. It's certainly worth showing a few more times too. :)
ReplyDeleteReally wonderful shot Rose!
