These tenacious leaves make a good subject. I'd wonder what enables them to hang on while all the others fell. Nice shot.
Oaks don't let go of their leaves till spring. They make lovely artsy photos this time of year.

There are always a few leaves that hang on...I don't know if they ever drop off of their on accord. It may take new growth in the spring to force them off.
