Mallards in the misty snow

I know this is not the greatest photo, but it really appeals to me...taken today while it was snowing. Enlarge it...I think you will see the appeal...well, maybe some will. Others will probably think I am a little bit crazy and they would not be far wrong.

  1. Reckon why they're all lined up? Looks like they're watching a parade.

  2. Ooooooo, I like this! It's peaceful. Love mallards but unfortunately, around here, the Canadian geese outnumber them.

  3. I think it's a wonderful photo! I love how cold it looks. You know the mallards are freezing their little webbed feet in that icy puddle! Thanks for your comments. I have left the larger globe on the table like a big bowl.

  4. That is a neat shot, I like it. We had flurries today but didn't amount to much.

  9. No I don't think you are crazy and I really like this shot.
I wonder why they are all lined up like that? The snow just adds a little mystery to it.

To me it looks like an illustration out of a picture book.
