For this week's barn charm, I am showing a duke's mixture...but they are all from my little drive last week.

These first two shots of the same barn are one I have never seen before...think I was on a totally new to me road...

Then the barn below, I have a shot of from a different season and I was approaching from a different direction...

and the barn below, is one new to me. I really don't remember ever seeing it before...

it is a big barn...looks like a lot of square feet under that roof.

What caught my eye is the real small door hanging open right behind that light...one those things that make me wonder why there and why that size?

All are charming but I especially love the last barn with peeling white paint and rusting metal roof. The slope of the roof is so attractive!
ReplyDeletegreat grouping for barns. i'm a fan of the 2nd barn (3rd picture) such character. (:
ReplyDeleteBarn 1 ~ looks like a face...check it out and see if you see it, too.Wonder what is in the window.
ReplyDeleteBarn 2 ~ This barn looks more like the barns in our area. It looks as if it is not in use at the moment.
Barn 3 ~ This is a big one with lots of roofing which needs to be painted. You could make it into a fabulous home.
Barn 4~A pretty quirky one. I really like it with its funky windows and that door. You never now what you ae gonna find when you really start looking at these older structures. genie
every one of them is great and weathered and cool. :)
