Having to dig through the archives for photos to post... I don't think these have been posted before...if I did I forgot to label them. I am linking to Tricia's Barn Charm meme.
I think I like the 2nd one best also, but I am not sure I would park my car under there! It looks a little wobbly on that side! That first one seems to have something parked under the opening... They are both good shots! I love the surrounding view!
I love that side part on the 1st one & the opening in the middle... the red really pops in contrast to the green grass in the 2nd one... I'm guessing the 2nd is still being used because the wood doors look new
I have to cast my vote for the first shot. While the red barn is colorful the first has more character. Each time I look at it I see something I missed the time before.
I'm wondering if there was a special little room there in the first one where it looks like a door was. With that nice new door on the second it looks like it was still being used but I'm wondering why they didn't go ahead and repair the right side. I'm running out of barns to post too. At least you had some good ones in your archives!
Hey, great Tennessee barns! I can't always keep up with what I've posted either. I do upload my photos to Picasa that I'm going to post so that helps some. Unless I upload a set then never post them.

Those have a great deal of history! I hope a big storm doesn't make it a great deal of "past." Nice images. :)

they are both super but that first one is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteThey both are good example of barns with a drive-in capability. I like the added sheds that must be built up on support columns. A fine post, Rose.
ReplyDeleteSomeone cares for the second barn at least - new doors. I have to delete my barn photos after I use them to avoid confusion.
