  1. Those have a great deal of history! I hope a big storm doesn't make it a great deal of "past." Nice images. :)

  2. like them both! if i was having to dig thru archives, i wouldn't be doing a 'double feature'. i'd be stringing them along, one by one... :)

  3. i am leaning just a little towards the red one, both are beautiful old barns.

  4. I absolutely LOVE the first barn! You find so many barns with character. :)

  5. Both these barns look amazing even if they are a wee bit run down. I like your first shot the best.

  6. Those may be old but they're beauties! There is even a spot to park your car!

  8. Even if you have posted them before, I haven't seen them. They are both great but I like the first one best. It is so different.

  15. I'm partial to red barns, so I'll choose the second one as my fav. Great old barns!

  16. I think I like the 2nd one best also, but I am not sure I would park my car under there! It looks a little wobbly on that side! That first one seems to have something parked under the opening... They are both good shots! I love the surrounding view!

  17. These are so sweet Rose!

Your post title made me think that you and Texwisgirl should do a collaboration -- Two from Texas, Two from Tennessee! Whatcha think? :)

  18. I love that side part on the 1st one & the opening in the middle... the red really pops in contrast to the green grass in the 2nd one... I'm guessing the 2nd is still being used because the wood doors look new

Fine finds, Rose, & thanks so much for joining =)

  19. they are both super but that first one is my favorite!

  20. They both are good example of barns with a drive-in capability. I like the added sheds that must be built up on support columns. A fine post, Rose.

  21. Someone cares for the second barn at least - new doors. I have to delete my barn photos after I use them to avoid confusion.

  22. It looks like the second barn is getting some much needed TLC. Great pictures of great barns.

  24. Wow, these are great! I am amazed at how many of these barns are still standing.

  25. Yes to both! Even if you did post them before I sure don't remember and who cares they're both great.

  26. I have to cast my vote for the first shot. While the red barn is colorful the first has more character. Each time I look at it I see something I missed the time before.

    Great shots both.

  27. These are wonderful old barns, Rose.
I especially love the first one.

  28. I'm wondering if there was a special little room there in the first one where it looks like a door was. With that nice new door on the second it looks like it was still being used but I'm wondering why they didn't go ahead and repair the right side.
I'm running out of barns to post too. At least you had some good ones in your archives!

  30. Hey, great Tennessee barns! I can't always keep up with what I've posted either. I do upload my photos to Picasa that I'm going to post so that helps some. Unless I upload a set then never post them.
