Barns...photo overload....

I have probably posted a lot of these at one time or another...
but came across some of them which lead to looking for others...

and decided to post several in one post.

It is one of my favorite barns....it is east of Bridgeton, near the old iron bridge.

Looking at it from the front....the part on the right side has been suffered storm damage twice in the past few years, and both times they have repaired it. The last time was last year and it was almost completely torn off.

I don't know why the photo below has that greenish hint of color along the top..

I have taken lots of photos of this place and will probably take a lot more.

And I will probably post more of them...

So, in trying not to say too much, will just say that this is my entry to Tricia's Barn Charm Meme.

Just love the shot of the cultivator or whatever it is. The wheels looks like art.

  8. Wonderful old barn! I love the shape and the weathered wood. Also like the art looking machinery. I think it is an old hay rake.

  14. Yep, I too like the one where the snow is flying. The one beneath it with the hay cutters (I think that is what they are) is neat.

  24. I have enjoyed seeing all the different photos of it and the bit of background you've given about it. It's an awesome barn and one that I would think you would never tire of capturing on camera. I like that you did inside shots too.

  26. I can see why you keep coming back to this barn, Rose. Like some other commenters, think the 3-level roofline is fantastic. Especially enjoyed your winter photos--and the patterns that the equipment made against the walls inside the barn.
