I have had these ready to go for a while...so going to post them...I guess I am hoping quantity will make up for quality.

It it fun to watch for the things people leave on fence posts...so I take a photo of it every chance I get.

I thought this was neat but do not like my photo of it...I think the reason I don't like it is the lighting. It is up in Parke County....just in the middle of this yard.

And this is an oldie that I really like, even though the fence is blurry....it is a scan of a B&W photo from years ago.
This is my entry for
Friday's Fences....
that 2nd one is interesting - guess they tried to 'screen off' a portion of the yard for a quiet spot? :)
ReplyDeletei like the old barn one w/ fence in front too.
The scanned photo is just fine!
ReplyDeleteSky Through Fence
I really like the 2nd shot. It's kind of higgledy piggledy looking in a really nice way :)
ReplyDeleteI really like that look through the wire fence...
ReplyDeleteI think the little seating area is very rural like. Maybe with some flowers and bushes around it wouldn't look quite so odd. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the barn behind the fence.
That scanned b & w is so evocative.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures!!
ReplyDeleteI really like all three, they are really postable. I cannot pick a favorite!
ReplyDeleteThe second one is neat, but they're all wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThey work for me! Nice photos.
ReplyDeleteLove the last shot!
ReplyDeletenice fences....love that old barn! i'm lol'ing at someones comment about higgledy piggledy, never heard that before, cute!
ReplyDeletelove the black and white shot. and now i wonder what in the world they were fencing in or out with that second fence. i have heard of circle the wagons, now circle the old rail fence.
ReplyDeletelove the looking through fence view of the barn. so neat. (:
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures you show. Wishing you a good weekend :) Hanne Bente / hbt.finus.dk
ReplyDeletea stone on the pole? Strange isn´t it?
ReplyDeleteA fine series for Friday Fences. I too like your fence screen on the black and white image.
ReplyDeleteI like all of your fence pictures. The fence in the yard really is very nice. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteThat's a fun subject, Rose--will have to start noticing what people leave on their fences or walls. Sometimes it might be just thriftiness--maybe they'll use something again so lay it up where they can see and not forget?
ReplyDeleteYour captures of field fences in the previous post were just lovely--I could look at all of them for a long time without getting bored.
Great shots :)
ReplyDeleteAl three look fine to me, but I especially like the first one!
ReplyDeleteI like them all!
ReplyDeleteI love the black and white one with the blurry fence, great shot!
ReplyDeleteI wonder what that fence in the second photo is all about. Hmmm.
