From Illinois

I cannot remember the name of the little town this was in...it was just a small place. We stopped at a little diner there...we both got a grilled pork chop, which was really good. And Roger got an order of fried zucchini. Neither of us noticed the price...till we got the bill. I don't know what I expected...it was a big serving of the best fried zucchini we had ever had. It's cost--$1. We think about going back just for to have the fried zucchini.

    it was worth the trip to get this photo. i love that roofing on the pointed part, great shot. and yum on the price and the zucchini.

    The building looks like it has some German or Polish influences. In any event, it's a beauty.

    And $1.00 for the zucchini? That's cheaper than growing it yourself. :)
