I posted a view of this house/porch the other day over
here at Pics & Pieces...thought I would show this shot where I zoomed in on some of the appeal of the place. Such intricate work...I wonder how long it has been there and what tools were used to make this decorative trim.
When ever I see things like this I always wonder how they made it, especially on the ones that are really fancy.
ReplyDeletereally lovely. nice to see it taken care of, too.
ReplyDeleteWe have houses like this around here, and they are so cool. And see how you even captured the shadow of the lacy work? Kind of looks like a gingerbread house. I would like to know the name of this style.
ReplyDeleteI love detail on buildings like this! Someone took extra time and put a little love into it!
ReplyDeleteDitto Ginny. The shadows add wonderful domension and interest.
