Teepees....

When I see ice like this, it always reminds me of teepees.  I think the only place I have ever seen it is out there at the strip pits.

I just had to give you two versions.  I wonder if any of the ice is left...it has been pretty warm today.

  12. Beautiful shots! Really like the close up capture. I've seen (in years past) some great ice formations on the reeds at Monroe Lake but don't remember them looking quite like this.
