I have posted a photo of these two trees at another time...but I don't think it had the blue, blue sky that this has. I might just be able to find them again now...we happened across them by chance both times. There is just something about big old sycamores that I love. When I was younger, I did not like them at all.
Sycamores! I was going to ask you what they are, my best guess was birch or silver maples. These are really beautiful, and they don't even need their leaves to show ff their beauty and grace.
ReplyDeleteThe blue sky really sets off the bare branches. A really nice scene overall! Wintertime trees are one of my favorite subjects.
ReplyDeleteI like these trees better without their leaves, they are just stunning against that blue sky
ReplyDeletethey're quite marvelous! :)
ReplyDeleteThe silvery sycamores look great against the blue sky. Fine image.
ReplyDeleteWe have a lot of these in the area. I love this time of year and being able to look out and pick them out because of their color.
ReplyDeleteI can't look at one without remembering the time my brother was playing at our grandparents and got some part of the blossoms or fruit stuck in his throat. Grandpa had to rush him to the doctor's office where the doctor pulled it out. Scared me to pieces.
A lovely blue sky makes these stand out!
The blue sky does add to the photo!
ReplyDeleteI like these great old trees as well. This is a wonderful shot.
ReplyDeleteVery stately!
ReplyDeleteSilver and blue...lovely photo.
