This second concrete post was on out in the country...I was standing right beside it when I took some of the pictures of this barn.
And this is just a close-up from the above....
I think this is the last shots from the snow that I will post for a while...but who knows, I may change my mind.
Nice trees to be mixed with the snow. Its a beautiful accent.
ReplyDeleteWe are definitely kindred spirits when it comes to photography...I have pictures so similar to yours. Cement and iron always catches my eye...the fence at the cemetery is unique with character that is not seen in this day and age.
ReplyDeleteneat fences. cement and rock are rare.
ReplyDeletesleeting here as i type this comment. i wonder where spring ran off to. it is such a wild year. ( :
ReplyDeletei enjoy your views so. looks like an interesting cemetery to check out in person. i hope you like snow.
The first one...it looks like if it was just a bit higher, it could be a fortress.

ReplyDeleteGreat shots! That first one is just magical!
ReplyDeleteYour photos are just grand today, Rose. What an interesting setting and good eye to spot all these details. My favorite is the single post--snow makes even the commonplace extraordinary.
ReplyDeleteWow, I love the fence around the cemetery. It's really beautiful. And the cement post is great too. Love the close up shot of it! Beautiful photos. Pamela
ReplyDeleteI love stone fences. This one dreamy looking with the snow on the ground.

ReplyDeleteGreat shots. I like the last one. MB
ReplyDeleteThese are great Rose, I really love your first picture. It does look quite chilly though!!
ReplyDeleteGreat fences - and quite different than what we see around here.
ReplyDeleteRose, these are wonderful images. I really love them. I hope this is not the last for to long. I will miss you!
ReplyDeleteI really like the rusty closeup. Very cool.
ReplyDeleteI keep thinking I won't post any more snow and ice photos...but then find they look better than the photos of I have of brown mud. We still have some ice her and although many bloggers are tired of ice and snow I still think it's pretty. I'm sure I will change my6 mind once something starts to bloom. Nothing so far!
