Iris...such an amazing flower

The iris is such a beautiful flower...and sort of complicated when you look at it.  I can never quite capture it like I want to.

    I agree, it is complicated, nothing like your ordinary daisy. You have done a great job of showing us the inside story!

    beautiful and i like the insides to all flowers, they amaze me, so many things we can't see with our eyes that macro shows us....

    This shot does a good job of capturing the heart of an Iris. Mind have yet to bloom.

    This is beautiful! I really like irises, but the only ones I can grow here are our wild ones. My mother used to grow many, many different varieties.

    Beautiful! I have several purple and some white blooming right now. I think they are one of my favorite flowers. I love all the different colors.
