I have had this barn ready to post for several months and just have not gotten around to it. It is one we came across on one of our drives.
It set way back from the road, but I still found it appealing.
Again, I have had this one ready to post for months. And months. A different drive, a different day. Not that I find it so appealing, but the color is odd. That caught my attention.
It isn't very big, and is not close to any farmhouse.
The first barn is in Indiana, and the one that is part green is in Illinois.
Linking to Barn Charm.
i rather like the minty green! made me crave mint ice cream w/ choc. chips! :)
ReplyDeleteWow that last barn just sits with nothing around it? Hmmm guess it outlasted the house maybe.I like green but that color on a barn just isn't right somehow. Looks mismatched. Sad we see so many barns in disrepair..it's just so expensive now..prices of wood etc. Sad some how. Wonderful photos.
ReplyDeleteI love red barns!
ReplyDeleteAnd before I saw TexWisGirl's comment, I was going to say that the green barn reminded me of pistachio gelato (she and I were both thinking ice cream, haha!).
I really like the shape of the first barn. It's so unusual to see a barn in green, especially that shade.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had these barns from the past to share with us.
ReplyDeleteThey look like they were built with utility in mind. I like them both!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the green color of the second barn!!! They both look well cared for and loved, a nice sight to see.
ReplyDeleteThat last one is my favorite!
ReplyDeletehaha agree with texwis!
ReplyDeleteInteresting barns. I've always loved that particular barn shape - with the attached lean-to.
ReplyDeleteThe light green is different from the norm, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteyou just don't see a green barn everyday. I like it!
ReplyDeletei like the odd green one, it is like a patchwork quilt barn... alas, i have no barns to share.
ReplyDeleteI like seeing front and back of this first barn. Most of the ones I shoot I can only see from one side. The green on is unusual in size and color, but I like it too.
ReplyDeleteI love both of them. Wish we had more of the different colors around here.
ReplyDeleteStill they are barns and we like them. Green is quite popular---it must be available in that type of siding. MB
ReplyDeletesuch a fan of the minty green barn. what a cool one, indeed. ( :

ReplyDeleteDefinitely a different and unique color for a barn.
ReplyDeleteGreat collection of barns! I love the reds, my favorite color, and the shape of the first barn. The green is neat, too, very different!
ReplyDeleteThe second barn is an interesting patchwork, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteMint green? Interesting and unique.
ReplyDeleteI like the green one, but don't ya wonder why it is all by itself?
ReplyDeleteI like the green one too.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you shared these, Rose!
