The yellow is beginning to show...

I drove through the strip pits on the way to Paris, Illinois today.  These 'weeds' caught my eye...to me they are just beautiful.

    Oh, I agree! I've seen fields of something similar here and it just blows you away with the impact of such color!!! Very pretty!

    they are beautiful and the same color as goldenrod, but not sure what these are... all new to me...
