This week I am featuring a barn taken in Illinois at the Forest Glen Preserve back in April.
I actually took some different views...
They have a washed out feel to them, but still you can get a good look at it.
I am not sure it is a barn or just an outbuilding, but when I first saw it, I thought barn...so hoping it is close enough to count.
Linking to Barn Charm.
really cool. complete with old wagon.
ReplyDeleteI like all three photos but especially the first in B&W. It really looks an old photo.
ReplyDeleteWorks as a barn for me. I like the weathered wood and the rock foundation in the last photo!
ReplyDeleteLove these pics.
ReplyDeleteI'd say it counts as a barn. This is what Jim's sauna is going to hopefully look like when the wood ages a bit more.
ReplyDeleteI'd post that as a barn...close enough for my taste! Pretty, too, with all those stones around the foundation!
ReplyDeleteThe way it is built is very strange!! Those boards on the right, look all loose and have spaces, and there is NO door on it, probably round back. BUT I like the design of it! It looks like half barn, half house, with a dash of driveway and log cabin thrown in! Were there other houses around?
ReplyDeleteNeat little barn! Twyla
ReplyDeletelove the wheels. great textures. ( :
ReplyDeleteGreat find...love it!
ReplyDeletewhat a beauty, Rose. love the stone foundation. thanks for joining =)
ReplyDeleteThe washed out feel gives it an authentic look that I like. The color and textures are excellent.
ReplyDeleteI have never seen one like this. Great character to it. Thank you for sharing...I love it.
ReplyDeletemost defintely a barn and i love love love this one since it is made from logs and would go with my dream home. we could park 2 trucks under there and the barn part could be bobs workshop...
ReplyDeleteThis is a grand old barn. It would fit right in at Cades Cove here in the Smokies.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a hybrid between a barn and a cabin! A Carn! Very rustic and inviting looking! Thanks for stopping by. Happy barnhunting!
ReplyDeleteNice one, Rose! I like the B&W version.
ReplyDeleteAll 3 shots are nice...not sure which I like best!
ReplyDeleteoh! black and white, lovely!
