    Yes, the background has some kind of awesome shadows, and the flower is beautiful. More than that, the flower itself is the beautiful bloom, and the shadow is the thorns, how cool is that.

    What intricate detail....the flower is so feathery and the stem looks almost like a cactus with little hairs....so pretty! Love the blurred background. It looks so gray....like a cloudy day....with the flower bringing some color to the world.

    The entire image is lovely! This would be another I would have printed and framed.

    I answered you on my blog, but in case you didn't see it, yes, you are correct about The Beef House location.

    As for the crooked cabin, you are most likely correct on that location, too. That was from our trip to Springfield and we went through Rockville and Montezuma. You are very observant! ;-)
