I forgot I had these to use for Barn Charm....took them just last week.
Notice the gate in the above picture...I used a view of it the other day in the Friday's Fences meme.
And let me give you this side view of this big old barn...it is the only view I got as we passed...
And there you have my Barn Charm.
good looking roof on that last place, even if the sides look like a fringed skirt. :)
ReplyDeleteYee Haw - hahaha! Very nice barns! - and Tex is right, that weathered barn looks to have a nice new roof.
ReplyDeleteOh great barns. I really like the red one.
ReplyDeleteI love these barns! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThe last barn is wearing a grass skirt! And the first one looks to me like a patchwork barn.
ReplyDeleteTwo beauties! Both look well used and a little raggedy--I know the feeling well!
ReplyDeleteVery nice shots! Twyla
ReplyDeleteTwo very charming barn. And each of them is very nice. A red barn is more festive but gray barn is also very neat.
ReplyDeleteI love the red barn. And maybe that old "gray" one was red in its former life.
ReplyDeletethese are both beautiful, the gray one looks like it has a skirt on.. great shots of the red barn, both of them... it looks like a well kept barn
ReplyDeleteGreat old barns. I love the red one. But the last one does look like its wearing a grass skirt as Sandra said.
ReplyDeleteTwo interesting barns. I like the red one with its lean-to addition. The last one is huge and although colorless, still sturdy looking.
ReplyDeleteLove the little red barn. Tattered and torn but still being used.
ReplyDeleteThe last on is a relic. Love it. MB
I'm partial to red barns, so my vote goes to that one! :) Love it! The last one has a nice roof.
ReplyDeleteOh Rose, I love that last one! It's been so long since I've done barn charm.
ReplyDeleteI like them both! There is something about a red barn, but I also love the faded gray!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos Rose!
ReplyDeleteThe bottom part of the last barn looks like a grass skirt...it's so wavy!
ReplyDeleteBarns always represent the good old days to me, and I think it is the same for those who live in the country side. That's why it's somehow depressing to see the last picture – abandoned and damaged through the years. At least the first two barns look okay despite the damage. I knew instantly that it still has an owner and still being used. I just hope the owner will do some repairs, so more people could appreciate it in the future. | Charles @ CharlesterryConstruction.com |
