Weathered barn

I ran across this...as with any weathered barn, it appeals to me.  I would love to know what goes on on the other side of that door.  I always wonder why the windows are needed.

  1. Love this! Would like to peek inside. I am drawn to weathered barns, too. Did you see the article in the Indy Star a few weeks back about barns?

  6. This is a fine example of weathered wood including the remaining faded paint. Nice angle and composition in the taking of this shot.

  7. Wonderful old barn. Old barns are so appealing to many of us. Full of memories with a touch of sadness. MB

  8. I like this old barn, Rose. So much character. I can't say for certain why the windows are needed, but having grown up on a farm I can say that the windows in our barn provided good ventilation, thus helping with the typical barn smells. :)
