Barn that has seen better days...

We were up by this barn again last week...below is a photo taken April 28, 2008
Can you believe how much it has deteriorated since then.  If I hadn't taken both pics I would have to wonder if they were the same barn.

Oh, and if you are interested, HERE is a photo of it from another view that was taken in January of 2012.

    I'd say some severe weather played a hand in this.

    Oh my GOSH! Something you rarely see, now and then. The first picture just really gave me a big shudder to see. What HAPPENED to it? Don't you wonder...

    if it were mine i would tear it down carefully and save all that old wood, they could make a small fortune selling the boards for others to build with instead of letting it fall down and rot. it is beautiful, i did go look at the other one and all 3 are beautiful photos

    The three pictures are very instructive. The barn has declined very rapidly. This makes a very interesting post.
