This is a barn we pass on the way to Nashville, Indiana. It is on past Spencer, Indiana on 46. The road is busy, so I have to shoot out my window. This time I actually rolled the window down...so far, I think this is my most successful shot of the old barn.

This is beautiful, like a trip back in time! And I have never seen a barn with moss growing on it!
ReplyDeleteExcellent shot. Look at all that ivy(?) almost covering the barn.
ReplyDeleteLove the Heron in the previous post.

it's a gorgeous scene!
ReplyDeleteI know how frustrating it is trying to get a photo on a busy road, with no place to turn off safely onto. Now imagine driving a small house and trying to do this. I like this barn for all the foliage growing on it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful barn! It looks like the ivy is holding it together.
ReplyDeleteOh gosh- that's a beaut!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great old barn! I am not surprised that it is a favorite.
ReplyDeleteNice picture, great to see how the ivy has invaded the barn in ruins, beautiful colors!
ReplyDeleteLike you, I take shots when I can get them! This one is very nice! I love the abandoned look of it.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful! I think the vines are holding it up.

The old barn photo is nice!
ReplyDelete...and it's such a lovely image too. Wow. I think it's a great image of clarity for being a drive by shooting.
ReplyDeletePS...love the GBH in the tree in your post below...I'm an avid birder [as you can see by my bird blog link on my sidebar]...so bird images are always a treat.
ReplyDeleteI like the setting this barn is in as well as the barn itself.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! If it wasn't open, I would like to stay in it for a while ;-)

Handsome old thing, especially with his vine accessories. I bet he would be glad if everyone didn't just drive by.
ReplyDeleteAnd I meant to say that I love your header.
