Roger had cabin fever today...and I guess if I am truthful I did, too. So we headed to Walmart...but I told him to go to the strip pits first. We just went through part of it...and out by the one farm that has a few head of cattle. I often wonder do they see me taking pictures of their cattle since I stop every time I pass them.
What a great image!!! The cattle are gorgeous -- or should I say 'handsome'?!!

ReplyDeleteI saw a photo of a man busting a hole in the ice so that his cattle could get a drink. It was only then I wondered about farm animals and how they managed sub-zero weather you are having.
ReplyDeleteI always worry about animals out in the weather. And, I also wonder what people think of me taking pictures of their cows. In fact, I let it keep me from taking them sometimes. Need to get over it.

ReplyDeleteVery nice photo. It looks as if the cattle are being well cared for. I do feel sorry for animals (and humans) out in such cold temperatures.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see they have hay to eat. I always wonder how those animals stay warm in the winter. The trees with the snow in the background look like it makes a good wind break for them.
