As I passed by the picnic table the other day, I noticed this seed laying there. Later I remembered and took my camera out to try to capture it. I did not wear a jacket and should have...and should have at least got out my mono-pod. Still, I think you will enjoy it. Left click on it and chose to pen in new tab or new window to get the full view.
Happy Valentine´s day, Rose!
ReplyDeleteReminds you that spring will come!
ReplyDeleteYou even captured the delicate little dew drops. This looks like a fisherman's fly.
ReplyDeleteThat is incredible, Rose.
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day.
This may be a rare capture of a milkweed seed. The plants are disappearing and so are Monarchs that feed on these plants. Both may be extinct very soon. Dig a hole in the snow and plant it in a sunny dry spot in your garden. Oh, and put on a jacket when you go out to plant it!
ReplyDeletelooks like a fishing lure. :) lovely.
ReplyDeleteamazing little seed....
ReplyDeleteThe larger view shows the droplets very well. A fine shot and worth the temporary chill!
