I always think ginseng is one of the prettiest plants...it turns the most beautiful gold in the fall and has red seeds that grow up from the middle. I grew up hunting and digging it...now I am happy if I get to be out and see it and maybe photograph it.
Very pretty, Rose. I don't think I've seen this before.
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty when it's green, but I'll bet it's spectacular when it's gold with the red seeds.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard this...nor seen it before. I learned something today!!!
ReplyDeletedon't know if i've ever seen it - and if i did, i know i didn't know what it was.
ReplyDeletethanks for the photo. i have heard of it and the digging of it and that people sell it for lots of money, now i know what it looks like
ReplyDeleteIt has a great looking green color and the pattern is interesting too. Very nice shot. I don't know whether we can grow that here or not.
ReplyDeleteAhhh, ginseng. What did you do with it when you were growing up?
ReplyDeleteIt is a pretty plant. I have heard about it all my life. You are from the hills and hollers of Tennessee right. MB
ReplyDeleteI've never seen this plant either. Although I have heard about it. So of reminds me a little of blackberry bushes, at least the pattern of the leaves.
