Harbinger of spring

I was so surprised and excited when I looked out under the feeders and saw this robin.  It's the first I have saw in our neighborhood since last summer.
The same robin, just a little different view.

  3. I like seeing your Robins . . . I may have heard them a few days ago but haven't seen any. I think they are food looking ground birds and there is no ground in sight around here. I just awakened, checked the temperature, -9. Brrrrrr . . . warmth please!

  8. A fine capture of this robin's color scheme. The robins showed up here in a large group. Even with the snow they till the trees with dozens of robins. I hope there are berries on trees for them to eat.
