Locust

I have always called these honey locust blooms...now I am not so sure.  It does have thorns...

  3. oh, my! we have locust trees here, but i've never seen them bloom like that, so we must have another type.

  4. The buds at the bottom look like little tiny baby slippers and as they open they look entirely different.

  6. I believe they are Locust blossoms. We have them here like that. So pretty but the smell gets to me.
