Monarch

This one was up at the swampy area north of here.  It was so windy, I was lucky to get this shot.  Believe it or not, I have seen just as many monarchs here at the house, if not more than normal.  But not other places.

  6. we had a few butterflies this summer, but not nearly what we usually do. it could be the longevity of the high 90's since June 1...

  7. I sure hope they are making a comeback. Beautiful shot of this monarch. Windy weather definitely isn't your friend when it comes to shots like this, but you aced it!
