Old but beautiful....

Saw these two at the end of August...really wonder about the history of the top one for sure.  If you look at the end, it looks like garage doors...bt the windows make me think someones old house.  But then there is that chimney!  Who would put a chimney there--be it house or garage of shop, it doesn't look like a good choice to me.
This old beauty doesn't look to have a long life left.  I wish I knew just where it was till I could keep an eye on it over the next few years.  I think this was the first time we had ever ran across it.

Linking to Rubbish Tuesday.

  1. The green roofed one must have been beautiful in it's day! The first one...I wonder if it was a garage that someone used for a studio or workroom?

  2. A certain kind of unique charm in the old chipped, fading paint and the rusted tin.

  4. I like both of these. The first is definitely an intriguing mystery. I really love the old barn, and I think you're right that it doesn't have much time left.

  5. I wonder about the chimney, too. They are normally more centered. Love the old barn with the ivy growing up to the roof. Two great selections for Rubbish. Thanks for posting!

  7. I think the top one is more house than garage. The bottom one looks ready to go at any moment. Fine shots.

  14. These old buildings are really in quite sad state, especially the bottom one. It makes you wonder how it stays upright.
