Poke plant

I think the poke plant is just simply a pretty plant. If it comes up in my flower bed, I am just as apt to leave it as to not.

  1. What a coincidence, I just finished taking pictures of them to post! I love the little red branches! Your photo is sunny and beautiful.

  2. It really is amazing to see the vibrant color in the otherwise not pretty plant. We have a bunch of the Polk Plant growing around our path going into the woods behind our house. I have no idea how that plant got there.

  7. l like how colorful this plant is. It has an interesting steam color and buds/seeds that are distinctive. A fine shot.

  8. We had one that would crop up every year along the back fence. I've heard that the birds are intoxicated by the berries.
