For the Barn Collective

I am showing a place we ran across a couple or three weeks ago.
They are starting to lean and fall apart...
I think this is really a corn crib, but not positive.   And remember to click to get a better view!

They are my entry to Amy's Barn Collective.

  3. Old barns are part of our history. They always cause me to wonder what year were they built, who was the family, what sacrifices did they make to afford the materials, did the community help with the building, what type of farm animals called that barn home. And, now it is falling down with no help from its current community. Sad.

  5. the first one it looks like the barn is in better condition that the part that fell, like if they took that away the barn would stand. i love the photos of both barns

  8. Looks like a couple of good stiff winds and that would be it...of course, they probably are a bit sturdier than they look. Sometimes they stay like that for a good while! Such beauty in these old barns :)
