For Good Fences

These are from last September....I cannot believe I have not already posted them but have checked a couple times and have not found them. This top one is at the Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge.

These last two are from the town of Madison, Indiana
I wonder how old these are....and wonder if any company does such beautiful work these days.

Linking to Good Fences.

  3. I like the way the first fence is going zigzag. The last one is real interesting. It looks like they made a post from wrought iron.

  6. both are beautiful in their own way, so different but still do the same thing. i love the iron work and i do think it is still available but probably not hand made like this was...

  7. Probably very old indeed. It's quite lovely, and I know there are places around here that duplicate those old fences. I know a cemetery, actually more than one that has the best design fences around family plots.

  8. It is a nice find. Amazing what we have stored away on file when we can not find at a certain time.

    Then Bingo it appeared today.

    Lovely fences. Perfect timing.

  9. Wrought iron usually speaks to me but that rail fence is calling to me - love it and you framed the shot perfectly! I'd like to be able to walk right into that photo.

  10. That zigzag fence is something to see. The others are very attractive. That last one is a work of art. You raise a good question.

  11. Nice black and white shot of the fence. The lighting is lovely.
I like Wrought Iron fencing like that. Those spikes look (wicked) don't they but oh so pretty paired with the lovely roses.

  16. Gorgeous photos, Rose! I have been taking lots of bird shots recently too that I plan share. I really like the look of the HDR effects. I use Picasa and Picmonkey. I will have to try that with some of my unedited ones. Have you ever used the "mascara" effect on Picmonkey? Yes, I said mascara...if you haven't, check it out! Beautiful fences too!
