We had been watching pheasants disappear into the weeds. I was not even attempting to photograph them because the dried weeds and grass was just too much. It took me totally by surprise when this one flew towards the road but behind us.
I was totally unprepared and did not get focused good. He was just there and gone. I have played wit this trying to improve it but not sure I succeeded.
you can definitely tell that's a pheasant in all his plumage finery! very cool!

ReplyDeleteHard to catch a bird in flight when they are going so fast, but your editing did improve the photo. There's always another day when that perfect moment will come and the stars will all align and you'll get the perfect shot.
